Ha participado en las siguientes misiones, productoras de Emergencias y Desastres:
1995 – Hurricane “Opal” – Clear and remove sand and debris from the Destin Inlet area after the strike. Clear and remove biological waste and assorted other chemical from coastal areas in Ft. Walton and Destin, Florida
1996 – Hurricane “Fran” – Clean up and remove 5 million cubic yards of debris in coastal North Carolina. Project ran for 3 months with separation of hazardous materials included. This operation included copious amounts of asbestos.
1996 – HDI Warehouse Fire and Explosion / ATF Investigation – Clean up and remediate large chemical storage warehouse after fire was out. Assist in the ATF investigation to determine source and cause of fire.
1998 – North Carolina Floods (January) – Provided logistics support to the National Guard and consulting support for Hazardous Materials released into local rivers and creeks from the Swine farms in the flood area. The materials released included biologicals.
1998 – Hurricane “Bonnie” – Respond to supply emergency power need for the State of North Carolina. We also acted as a back-up hazardous materials response if needed under our response plan. We also consulted to the state for the clean-up post hurricane when requested.
1998 – Tropical Storm “Francine” – Performed hazardous materials recovery operations for the U.S. Coast Guard. This operation involved recovery of unknown drums in an area ranging from Houston Ship Channel to High Island.
1998 – Hurricane “Georges” – Responded to supply emergency power need for the State of North Carolina. We also acted as a back-up hazardous materials response if needed under our response plan. We also consulted to the state for the clean-up post hurricane when requested. We were able to cover a double strike hurricane and man two LSAs with the manpower and equipment. Note: this was done in both North and South Florida.
